Overview:

Pike Peak Trek, which offers the finest of Sherpa culture and the Himalayan landscape, is a recently established and lesser-known trekking route in the Everest region. This journey gives a wonderful view of the most search-after peaks of Everest, Kanchenjunga, and Makalu, the trail travels through traditional Sherpa villages and monasteries following the worn trail.

Many past explorers and mountaineers, such as "Sir Edmund Hilary," concur that their favorite view of Mount Everest is from Pikey Peak. One thing is sure the 4,067 m peak in the lower Everest region is the best viewpoint to look into Mt Everest and other peaks east of Kathmandu.

The pike trek can be summarized as follows: those who have very little time off from work during the holiday. Their goal is to take a sunrise photo with Mount Everest, the world's highest peak, during their brief trip to Nepal.

The most suitable way to realize your ambition is to take the Pikey route, which will allow you to see numerous mountains, including Everest (8848.86 meters high), Mt. Makalu (8,481 meters high), and Mt. Kanchenjunga (8586 meters high) and many other peaks which have great pictorial’s view. From the summit of Pikey Hill, pikey trekking offers you breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views.

Pike Peak Trek: Best Views of Everest & Rich of Sherpa Culture

Why you should do Pike Peak trekking?

The most breathtaking and bizarre views of the mountains, terraced farms, and woods of rhododendron, hemlock, and magnolia await you if you go to Pike Peak. Sherpas and Tamangs make up the majority of the local population in the Pike Peak Trek area. Because of this, the entire area is heavily influenced by Buddhism in terms of culture, customs, and architecture, with mani stones, Buddhist stupas, and century-old monasteries dotting the landscape. Yak herding is also observed in many locations. But this trek's main draw is its distinctive scenery and landscapes. It is one of the short treks that will take approx. 09 days to 14 days to complete. Pike Peak's short itinerary has provided all the activities and facilities that are required for this route.

One of the attractions of the Peak Pike trip is the sacred lake known as Dudh Kunda. The lake was named Dudh Kunda, which means "Milk Lake" in Nepali because it appears white due to its location in the shadow of Mount Numbur. Additionally, the flora and wildlife of this area are diversified. This area is home to five distinct rhododendron species. The spring is the ideal season to witness the stunning blooms. You will also have the opportunity to witness the Sherpa celebration known as Dumjee during this period. The monks engage in a very captivating religious dance known as Chham.

Cost friendly trek:

Pike Peak trek is relatively cost-affordable in the Everest region trekking. Cost can be increased as per your luxury and change in any long itinerary.
