Day 01:

After a hearty breakfast at your hotel in Kathmandu, you will catch a tourist bus that takes you to Chitwan. The bus leaves from Sorakhutte which takes 5 to 10 minutes walk from your hotel in Thamel at around 7 AM. The scenic bus drive to Chitwan takes around 5 to 7 hours. Enjoy the scenic drive along winding roads with breathtaking views of lush hills, rivers and charming countryside villages. The bus drops you off at the tourist bus park in Sauraha. We will pick you up from there in a private vehicle and transfer you to the jungle lodge. Enjoy a traditional welcome drink and a briefing about the upcoming jungle activities.

After some relaxation, get ready for a delicious lunch. After lunch, you will go on a Tharu Village Tour, where you will explore and learn about the indigenous Tharu community’s culture, traditional homes and lifestyle. As the sun begins to set, you will return to the resort and enjoy some leisure time before heading to an evening Tharu Cultural Show. Day 02:

Today, we will give you a wake up call to begin your wildlife adventure early in the morning. After breakfast, you will enjoy a thrilling canoeing trip on the Rapti River. As you glide through the calm waters, you will have the opportunity to spot mugger crocodiles, gharial crocodiles and a variety of exotic birds sunbathing in their natural habitat. After that, you will return by a guided jungle walk with an expert naturalist guide. The jungle walk helps you discover diverse flora and fauna, animal patterns, tracks and even sightings of wildlife including deer, wild boars, rhinos, etc. After returning, you will have your lunch and get some relaxation.
