When Is The Best Time To Trek The Mundhum Cultural Trail?

Mundhum Trekking Best Time is during the seasons Spring and Autumn. During spring from March to May Mundhum trail offers you scenic biodiversity. The season is the time when flowers like Rhododendron, wildflowers bloom all throughout the forests adding beauty to the trek. Spring season offers vibrant colour in the environment with greenery and lush forests. Clear skies with bright blue colours in the spring season will allow you to witness the beautiful mountain ranges and its bright snowcapped peaks crystal clearly. During autumn which is from September to November, Mundhum trail trekking conditions become very favourable just like in spring. After the monsoon rain, autumn season provides you with drier days with crystal clear views of the mountain and open scenic trails to hike through. The days are brighter and clearer and your experience will be unmatched.

Even though it is not that dangerous to hike the Mundhum Trail during Winter and Monsoon, it still is not advised to you to do so. Winter and Monsoon come with many unfavourable conditions which make the hike uncomfortable, unenjoyable and not worth it. Similarly, heavy rainfall in summer/ monsoon makes Mundhum trail trekking hard due to slippery muddy trails, leaches and cloudy views.
