Nepal is a safe and welcoming place for sightseeing, but travelers should take some precautions. Petty crimes like pickpocketing can happen in crowded areas, so staying alert is important. Roads can be rough, and flights may be delayed due to weather. In high-altitude areas, it's important to acclimatize properly to avoid sickness. Nepal is also prone to earthquakes and landslides, especially during the monsoon season. Drinking clean water and eating at hygienic places can prevent health issues. Respecting local customs, like dressing modestly at temples, ensures a smooth and enjoyable trip.
