Day 01:

Upon arrival at Paro Airport, our representative will greet you and help you with the necessary arrival formalities. Bhutan's entry, Paro, attracts tourists with stunning scenery and a peaceful environment.

After the arrival formalities are done, you will be taken to your Paro accommodation. Before you relax in your new surroundings, take some time to rest and recover after your journey. Paro is a charming town hidden in a breathtaking valley, known for its rich history, culture, and natural beauty. You can spend the evening exploring the town, going for a walk, and dining at one of the local restaurants.

Day 02:

Although today's hike is short, we maintain a safe and moderate pace because of the large altitude gain. After breakfast, you will drive to the National Museum (2487 meters) above Paro, where we will begin trekking. We'll walk uphill through apple orchards, Damchena village smallholdings, and pine forests. Visit Jele Dzong, which sits on a whaleback ridge at 3490 meters. The Jele Dzong is partially in ruins, but there is a Lhakhang with Buddha Sakyamuni's statue. On a clear day, the view of Paro town and Mount Jumolhari (7315 meters) is breathtaking.

Day 03:

The trip from Jele Dzong to Jangchulakha is a picturesque ridge walk with amazing views of the Himalayas and Paro Valley. The route passes through dense rhododendron forests and high grasslands, where yaks graze peacefully. After a few hours of moderate ascents and descents, you arrive at Jangchulakha, a stunning campsite surrounded by undulating hills and pure wilderness.

Day 04:

The trail from Jangchulakha to Jimilangtsho Lake has some ups and downs, but it is calm camping surrounded by alpine splendor, and makes an ideal rest stop. The hike from Jangchulakha to Jimilangtsho Lake (3880 m) provides stunning views of the surrounding mountains, you can get great views of 6989m Jichu Drake, the peak that represents Paro's protective deity, from the camp. as well as a combination of open ridges and forested trails.

Day 05:

When we begin the hike, we will travel through gorgeous dwarf rhododendron trees and avoid the calm Janetsho Lake. The expedition gives you a look into the lives of yak herders by visiting their camps and learning about their traditional way of life. The trail twists and curves, offering trekkers stunning views of the Himalayas from deep valleys. After crossing one more spur, Simkota Tsho Lake (4110m) appears below, adding to the panoramic beauty. The trail continues to a yak pasture, where you will set up a tent for the night. Day 06:

The day's trek begins with a moderate ascent to a little hilltop at 4150m, which provides a magnificent view of Mount Gangkar Puensum and Himalayan peaks in clear weather. Descending to another gorgeous lake, the trek goes to the Phume La pass (4210m), which is covered with vivid prayer flags and provides a breathtaking panorama of Thimphu city. The trail slowly descends through juniper trees to a community focus near Phajoding (3870m). The descent continues through blue pine and juniper trees until you reach the Sangaygang road on the edge of Thimphu. This hike smoothly combines mountain views, cultural monuments, and a peaceful forest descent.

Day 07:

The drive from Thimphu to Paro in Bhutan is around 55 kilometers and takes about 1 to 1.5 hours.  This scenic route follows lovely mountain roads, providing breathtaking views of valleys, medieval villages, and lush foliage. On the way, we will stop at Thamchog Lhakhang Iron Bridge for a scenic visit. We will pass through Chuzom, where the Paro and Thimphu rivers join. This location is highly important in Bhutan and provides an opportunity for some memorable pictures.
