Ghorepani Poonhill Trek offers the spectacular mountain views, beautiful scenarios along with the cultural variations of the region. Wandering through the alluring rhododendron forests, and villages, the trek is the most popular short trek here in Nepal. The elegance of this trek is that it satisfies the fantasy of explorers to catch the hypnotizing perspective of the dawn from Poon hill viewpoint. The trekking is also popular as Annapurna Sunrise Trekking or Annapurna Panorama Trekking. Not to mention, this trek will give you a chance to feel the Himalayan Panorama while giving you the chances to draw near to the local villages.

The walk begins from Nayapul and heads further to the charming Gurung villages. Warm welcome and hospitality of the Gurung people make your journey even more enjoyable and pleasant. This trek is regarded best for the beginners as the trails are well defined and also the trekking trail does not demand much of walking. Hiking past the villages such as Ghorepani, Ulleri, Ghandruk, you get to know about the ethnic groups living here. The focal point of the trek is the astonishing sunrise and sunset views. Early morning climb for sunrise over the Himalayas from the Poonhill gives sight of stunning views of peaks such as Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, along with numerous other peaks. The climb to the top is truly worthy and you would definitely not want to miss this sight. Best time to visit:

During the September - December, and February - May the weather is clearer giving you the clear sight of the snow capped mountains. The temperature is also moderate that contributes to a joyous trekking experience.

Day 01:

You will heartily be welcomed by our representative at the Tribhuwan International Airport. From thereon, you will be dropped at the hotel for relaxing. After that, you will be given a brief orientation of the trek by our representative.

Day 02:

After having our breakfast, we leave for the enchanting lake city, Pokhara. Pokhara awaits you with the adventures and the stunning views. An early morning flight to Pokhara would take about 6 hours. We are rewarded with the magnificent views of Mt Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, and Machhachapuchre. The beautiful never fails to amaze you with its beauty.

Day 03:

The real walk begins in Nepal. Our trek begins once we reach Nayapul. We move through sub tropical valley forests. Sometimes we also walk through the engraved trekking trails on the side of the cliff. Overnight at Tikedhunga.

Day 04:

After having early morning breakfast, we head towards Ghorepani village. The trail crosses the Tikedhunga river through a suspension bridge. The unwavering stone staircase continues to Magar village of Ulleri. Wildering through the rhododendron and oak forest passing through the cascading river, the journey becomes even more gratifying.

Day 05:

Trekkers wake up early to gaze the breathtaking sunrise view from Poonhill. Moreover, catch the hypnotizing perspective of the dawn from the Poonhill. The astonishing panorama comprises of the stunning Himalayas that leaves you awestruck.
After the Poonhill exploration, we start trekking towards Tadapani. Ascending through the Deurali pass, we move ahead through the moss covered forest with rich birdlife. Not to mention, the alluring sunset view from Deurali pass will make your trek joyous. Overnight in Tadapani.

Day 06:

From Tadapani, we descend towards the Ghandruk village. Walking through the dense rhododendron forest, you will have a pleasant walk down the Ghandruk village. Ghandruk is the second largest settlement of Gurung people. You also get to explore the culture of Gurung people along with their amazing hospitality. Overnight in Ghandruk.

Day 07:

Today, we trek from Ghandruk to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara. The downhill trek will lead you to Birethanti. Moving ahead through the villages to the terraced farming we further move downwards until you reach Modi Khola valley. After you reach Nayapul, the journey on foot comes to an end. You drive back to Pokhara on a tourist bus.

Day 08:

You can either take a flight or drive back to Kathmandu. Taking a flight would offer you some stunning aerial views of the Himalayas. On reaching Kathmandu, you would be dropped off at your hotels for your relaxation. You can explore the beautiful city of Kathmandu. Also known as the city of temples, you can visit the world heritage sites in your leisure time.

Day 09:

A beautiful journey has come to an end. The trek comes to an end leaving you with memories for a lifetime. You will leave your hotels and pack your luggage and leave for the airport. Our representative will drop you at the Tribhuvan international airport.
