Langtang Circuit Trek "Physical-Friendly Adventure in Nepal"

Langtang Gosainkunda Chisapani Trek in Nepal is an adventure that has a mix of alpine lankes (sacred), glacial valleys, greenery, and cultural immersion. This Circuit trek is very popular among trekkers, especially among hindu and Buddhist pilgrims visiting Gosainkunda every year. Langtang Circuit Trek has its own religious significance and provides panoramic and stunning Himalayan views, traditional Tamang villages, and scenic routes, and is ideal for trekkers seeking a little challenging route with views, rich bio diversity, and local interactions.

Langtang Circuit Trek itinerary normally spans between 13-15 days. Langtang Trek starts with a scenic drive to Syabrubesi from Kathmandu via Trishuli Bazaar and Dhunche. Upon reaching Syabrubesi, the real hike starts following the Langtang River, ascending gradually through villages like Domen, Pahiro, Bamboo, Rimche, Riverside, Lama Hotel, Ghodatabela, Thangsyap, Langtang Village, Sindhum, and Kyanjin Gompa. Kyanjin Gompa is the sacred Buddhist monastery at the end of the village in Langtang valley surrounded by snow-capped peaks like Langtang Lirung and Ganesh Himal. Continuing the trek, hike to Kyanjin Ri (4,773m) and Tserko Ri (4,984m) and descend back up to Bamboo to ascend to Thulo Syabru connecting the circuit trek to the holy Gosainkunda Lake (4,380m)  passing Sing Gompa and Laurebina. Trekking further, cross the dramatic Laurebina Pass (4,610m), and descend through the Helambu valley, ending your trek in Langtang Valley. While in Helambu Valley, trek through settlements like Kutumsang, Chisapani, and end your Langtang Circuit Trek to Sundarijal, before returning to Kathmandu. It takes around 4-6 hours for Sundarijal Chisapani trekking depending upon your pace and condition of trail.

Hiring a Langtang guide and porter is recommended as this circuit trek continues for long days. While hiring a licensed guide, you'll have two options, either hire a local trekking guide or a language guide. A guide provides you insights about culture, ensures your safety, handle logistics, navigates the route and make you at ease. Porter similarly lessens your backpack weight and help you walk without too much weight.
