An experienced licensed trekking guide is also required along with a Humla district permit, and other special permits. Depending on the number of trekkers and services, it usually costs around USD 3,500 to USD 5,000 while starting the trek from the capital. Limi Valley Trek Difficulty for Beginners

Limi Valley trek difficulty is considered challenging as trekkers will hike for a number of days, crossing high passes with basic camping equipment. You’ll hike for 6-8 hours on average with steep ascents and descents on narrow trekking routes. Even though 20 days in Humla Nepal includes a number of acclimatization days at points like Talung and Jang, Limi Valley trek is physically demanding even for experienced trekkers but also is highly rewarding. If you’re a first time trekker, make sure to prepare yourself physically and mentally and engage in cardio-vascular exercises to train your body.

Best Season For Limi Valley Trek

Limi Valley Trek best season generally lies between the months May to October when the weather is stable, making it easy to cross high passes as snows are cleared, the skies are also clearer, temperature are milder, and the wildflowers blooming welcomes you into this region. Weather in monsoon brings rain in lower sections having high chances of slippery trails along with leeches and mountain views being blocked by the clouds. This is the reason why a Limi trek guided tour is necessary as you’ll be pre informed about the weather and route conditions.

Limi Valley camping trek is not popular compared to commercialized treks in Nepal so, all the supplies such as tents, cooking fuel, food, and emergency equipment are carried by porters and mules. Therefore, proper logistics are essential for the success of Limi trek as there is no access for resupply once trekkers enter the valley. Limi Valley high altiute trek ensures all those things are handled by the registered trekking agency along with guide and porter. Limi Valley trek with porter support reduces your physical strain and mental burden making you only focus on enjoying and making new experiences.

Packing is a crucial step before starting the trek, so knowing what to pack for the Limi Valley 20 days trek can either make or break your trip.
