Day 01:

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, complete all the customs, and our representative from Attentive Holiday will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel. After refreshments, our guide will give you a brief overview of your tour and also process your visa for Tibet. This is the moment to ask questions and get your doubts answered if you have anything about your trip. Spend the night in the hotel.

Day 02:

After breakfast, sightseeing of Kathmandu's UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including:

  • Pashupatinath Temple: A sacred Hindu site by the Bagmati River, known for its stunning architecture and cremation rituals.
  • Boudhanath Stupa: One of the world’s largest spherical stupas, a center of Tibetan Buddhism.
  • Swayambhunath Stupa: Also known as the Monkey Temple, it offers panoramic views of the valley.

Day 03:

After breakfast, we drive to Nagarkot, stopping at Bhaktapur en route. Known as the "City of Devotees," Bhaktapur retains its medieval charm with brick-paved streets, pottery, and wood carvings. Visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, featuring the iconic five-story Nyatapola Temple, Bhairavnath Temple, and the exquisite Golden Gate leading to the 15th-century Palace of 55 Windows.

Upon arrival in Nagarkot, check in to your hotel and enjoy the serene surroundings. Day 04:

After Breakfast at Nagarkot and a sunrise view, we will dive back to Kathmandu. After arrival at the hotel, you have free time for your refreshment. You can shop at the Nepali market in Thamel or Aasan market.

Day 05:

After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, we will travel by private coach from Kathmandu to the Tibet border (Rashuwagadhi), enjoying the scenic trip. The drive takes about 6-7 hours. Our employees will take care of the necessary customs procedures and ensure hassle-free entry into Tibet, an autonomous region of China. You will take a bus or van to Kerung, a tiny Tibetan town. Dinner and spend the night at the hotel.

Day 06:

After breakfast, travel via Everest Base Camp (EBC) from Kerong to Tingri. The trip covers 250–300 kilometers and takes about 7–9 hours. Savor breathtaking vistas of the Himalayas and the Tibetan plateau as you travel. Visit EBC to take in views of Shishapangma, Cho Oyu, and the North Face of Mount Everest. After that, proceed to Tingri, a tiny town with breathtaking views of the mountains, where you will spend the night. Day 07:

After breakfast, we will drive towards Shigatse. After Breakfast, we will continue driving scenically, crossing Gyatchu La (5,220m), the highest pass en route to Lhasa via Lhatse, from where a road to Mt. Kailash Bifurcates to the west.

The path provides breathtaking views of the Tibetan plateau while passing through rural areas, small villages, and monasteries. Along the route, you'll see the spectacular Mount Everest from a distance. Shigatse, Tibet's second-largest city, is home to the famous Tashilhunpo Monastery and acts as a hub for further exploration of the Tibetan region.

Day 08:

After Breakfast Morning Sightseeing at the Panchen Lama’s Tashilhumpo Monastery. Drive to Lhasa via Gyantse Yamdrok- Tso Lake and the Tibetan lifeline river Brahma Putra (Yarlung Tsangpo).

This picturesque trail runs along the Yarlung Tsangpo River and provides amazing views of the Tibetan plateau. En route, you'll stop in Gyantse, which is noted for its spectacular Pelkor Chode Monastery and the Kumbum Stupa, a multi-tiered complex with over 100,000 Buddha images. Continuing your trek, you will come upon Yamdrok Lake, a magnificent turquoise freshwater lake surrounded by mountains. The journey concludes in Lhasa, Tibet's spiritual and cultural core, where you will spend the next few days exploring many key landmarks.

Day 09:

Visit the magnificent Potala Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the Dalai Lama's former winter retreat. Finish the day with a visit to Sera Monastery, which is famed for its arguing monks and gorgeous architecture.

Start the day by touring Drepung Monastery, situated atop the Gambo Utse Mountain and is among Tibet's biggest monasteries. Proceed to Norbulingka Palace, the Dalai Lama's customary summer home. To discover more about Tibetan history, culture, and art, you will also visit the Tibet Museum.

The travel from Shegar (also known as New Tingri) to Kerong and later to Kathmandu is around 425 kilometers and takes 9-10 hours, depending on road conditions. This route crosses past the Gyirong border and into Nepal, with breathtaking vistas of the Himalayas along the way. Farewell dinner in Kathmandu with authentic local music.
