Bungee Jumping in Nepal is an adventure sports in which a person jumps off a bridge to the river gorge, takes a deep breath until the cord is fully extended. A jumper’s body or ankles are tied with elastic cord to the jumping –off point. When the person jumps, the cord will stretch to take up the energy off the fall, then the jumper will fly upwards as the cord swings back. The jumper oscillates up and down until the initial energy of the jump is dissipated. Now, Nepal has become one of the best sites in the world for bungee jumping. The country’s first bungee jumping site is situated 160m over the roaring Bhote Koshi river, located close to the Nepal Tibet border (Kodari) just three hour’s drive from Kathmandu.
